What happens when a group of creatives, headed by a stylist, with a killer vintage collection, head to Nashville? 70s USA comes alive in pictures!
Leah Eddmenson, a fave stylist of ours in the USA paired up with amazing jewellery brand, 2 Bandits, to create a shoot titled Mama Tried inspired by Leah’s country roots, love of the 70’s and country-western singer Merle Haggard. Their location was nestled near Nashville, a little town straight out of The Dukes of Hazzard era (that car!), Leiper’s Fork.
Leah and the talented trio went exploring in the countryside: dirt roads, cow pastures and horse farms. They felt like teens in the 70’s with fringe, denim and leather… rebels with a car and a shotgun.
All together the images turned out like a perfect 70’s Sunday – just some American girls having fun in their cowgirl boots and flares… and you know we are suckers for anything 70’s Western!
As well as all that gorgeous 2 Bandits jewels, most of the wardrobe was Leah’s personal vintage collection. Shop The Hendrix Jacket HERE and the Fleetwood Vintage Lace Blouse (ON SALE!) HERE.
